DESTINATIONS
The top ten holiday destinations are
unchanged from last year, albeit with
changes in the rankings, suggesting stable
client preferences. However, the broader
picture is more complex. EliteVoyage’s top
100 clients holidayed in 56 different
counties, showing growing diversification of
destinations. Many destinations previously
considered niche, like Japan and Morocco,
have surged in popularity to sit just below
the top ten.
2025 rank
Italy again leads comfortably, confirming
its year-round appeal and diversity, from
cities to seaside and alpine stays. All have
direct flight access or are within comfortable
driving distance, like the Dolomites.
Austria’s rise to second place reflects a rise in
demand for alpine destinations in summer as
well as winter, supported with accessibility
by road. Greece continues to be boosted
by a swathe of recent hotel openings and
abundance of daily direct flight routes.
France and Spain roughly hold their positions
thanks to their abundance of destinations.
The political situation and safety concerns
are cited by clients and explain the
USA’s drop from number two to six. Dubai
continues to perform steadily thanks to
clients who repeat year on year and
there’s been an increase in Abu Dhabi
holidays, helping the UAE rise by one place.
The Maldives drops down the rankings, but
just below the top ten, strong Seychelles
and Mauritius bookings shows the enduring
strength of island-resort holidays. Switzerland
and the United Kingdom complete the top
ten, most popular as countries for skiing and
short London trips respectively.
